2024 Roster Projection Contest Results
Still a quieter year in the projection contest, with only five entries submitted.
Of those five, Hugo came in last with 46 of the initial 53 correct, dp73 and DNOMN8R314 (me) held down the peloton with 48, and rking88 and NewEnglandBlight tied at the top with 49.
With the tie among the leaders, the winner was to be decided by the practice squad.
As there was a bit of confusion as reports of returning players were coming in, I clarified that I was going by the first official report (i.e. announced by the team) of the Patriots signing players.
Very shortly afterwards, the Patriots announced their first practice squad signings... only seven of them. So the tie would be broken by those seven.
Both rking and Blighty correctly put Terrell Jennings and Jotham Russell on their practice squads. rking also correctly named Liam Fornadel, while Blightly also had A.J. Thomas.
...and Blighty also had Mitchell Wilcox.
So by a 4-3 tiebreaker on the practice squad, NewEnglandBlight wins the contest and the jersey. (PM me to let me know what you'd like.)
