Week 13: Patriots vs. Giants
Do the Pats win their 10th game in a row or will the streak come to an end?
The Giants aren't currently 2nd in line for the highest draft pick in the 2026 NFL draft. A win would tie them with the Commanders, Jets, Browns, and Cardinals. Due to their Division record, they'd hold the #4 spot (for now). This is a team that has the defensive players that should give them one of the better defenses in the league, but they haven't figured it out. They've blown 5 double digit leads this season. On the other side, the Pats struggled against a beat up Bengals team, last week, who had one of the worst defenses in the league. They also lost many starters in that game. This could be a really bad game, for either team. Unfortunately, it will be on Prime Time, for the world to see. Let's hope New England can overcome the roster situation and beat a team that they should handily beat, but I will not be surprised if this turns into a game we'll want to forget.

I didn't get my prediction right last week but the Patriots did lose some key pieces so that's a win in my book. Patriots defense won't be able to handle the Giants offense. Jaxson throws some darts to his WRs to go up big. Patriots offensive line cannot protect Drake and they struggle to put points on the board. Settle down Pats fans, it all goes downhill and they will miss the playoffs.
Giants win 27-13
Bold Prediction: Giants hire Belichick as a consultant to take down the Pats.

Somehow, the Giants have been eliminated from playoff contention, meaning they really have nothing left to lose. And they've been playing better of late. Their last three losses have all been by seven or fewer points. And yeah, the Pats are 5-2 in one score games, but the left side of their O-line is hurt, which has Brian Burns salivating. It might be a long night for Drake Maye (which is, apparently, Drake Maye's nickname).
Giants win 22-20
Bold Prediction: Remember Abdul Carter? Yeah, me neither. But I can foresee a two-sack game for the #3 pick in the 2025 draft.

Tight all game but Pats seal the win with a late pick. Maye takes 2 sacks...both from the right side.Mondre goes off with 2 rushing TDs from inside the 5.

Bold Prediction: Pats have as many fans in the stands as the home team

I don't know. With all the injuries, law of averages, etc. this one doesn't sit well. Can they stay motivated for one more week before the bye? The Giants are in disarray but are competitive. They just can't hold onto leads. But they do in this one.
Giants win 21-20
Bold Prediction: Pats offense and defense each score a touchdown.

I think the team actually competes better this week with their "backs up to the wall" after the injury issues- especially compared to how they sort of looked like doodoo last week. It won't be easy but they'll pull away in the 2nd half. Wouldn't be surprised to see the run game have much better production this week despite the injuries to the OL

Bold Prediction: Treveyon over 100 yards with a TD and mondre with 50 and a TD

There's a lot of anxiety about this game, especially with injuries to the offensive line and the Giants' strong pass rush, but I still trust Drake and co. to blast the NYG D and Gonzo et al. to keep a returning Dart from going off.

Dart is back, but he is horrible against man coverage. For all the issues along the lines, the Pats can still play man coverage. Bamboozle this kid. The Giants are also bad against runs on the edges, so let Henderson cook.

Interim HC bump makes it close. Drake will be on the run all night. I'm being optimistic here.

Bold Prediction: The Pats' offense will be mostly Stef Diggs making key catches to sustain drives. That's not bold, is it?

Pats' offense has traded healthy skill players for injured OL. Even with the backups, I expect the Pats offense to click and move the ball well. Defense needs to make Dart uncomfortable, and force him into bad rookie decisions.

Bold Prediction: Maye gets over 300 yards passing.

The Pats are destined for eventually killing the win streak. Will it be this week, against an underperforming but better than their record says team? Jaxson Dart is the kind of QB that has historically given the Pats defense fits. Vrabel has had mixed success against rookie QBs in his career as a head coach. I think the Pats defense plays physically and rattles the playmaking rookie QB enough to cause critical mistakes, giving NE their 10th win in a row in an ugly one.

The offense will not be quite the same and struggle at times but will make up for it when they dedicate the game to running the ball strongly. The pass game will do okay but the run game against a really bad run defense will spark the needed relief against one of the best active pass rushers right now. Giants will score a few times but the game will be out of reach by the 4th quarter.

Bold Prediction: Henderson and Stevenson go for over 100 each with 1 TD each. ST gets a TD and Maye gets sacked less than 3 times.
