Week 2: Patriots vs. Seahawks
Was last week a fluke, or was it just the beginning?
It's hard to say, honestly. The Bengals did not look very good on either side of the ball. The Pats' defense looked pretty good against them, but I'm unsure if their OL is any better than ours. We'll have to wait a couple more games before we truly know what this team will do this season.
I don't know much about the Seahawks, but I think the Pats have a long way to go before they can be truly competitive. Seahawks win 28-21

Pats defense plays another strong game while the offense continues to show signs of having an actual identity- running the ball, not beating itself, and trusting brisket not to make the killer mistake

Bold Prediction: Keion white with another sack and Gonzo gets an INT

The first week jitters are over but it didn't cover up how bad the offensive line is and how little of a threat Jacoby really poses to other teams. A lot of open guys and missed opportunities, I don't have faith that they can get themselves together in the end.

Bold Prediction: The Patriots defense gets 8 sacks on the day with multiple turnovers.

I think the defense plays well and the offense playes well enough. I think The Pats look to Polk to get him going.

Bold Prediction: No one will come up to me and say I hope the Patriots lose today so they can get a higher draft pick next year. In fact no one will talk about next year at this years home opener.

NE lucked out with Cincy's receiver issues last week. No such luck this Sunday. Gonzalez will do a decent job on Metcalf, so look for Tyler Lockett to have a big day.. Not much running room for either team this week, so it comes down to the passing game. I like Seattle in that matchup.

Bold Prediction: Malcolm Butler rings the bell three times in honor of Russell Wilson. The. Trolling. Never. Stops.

Offense still struggles. Can't expect Mondre to bail them out all the time. Defense keeps this close, again giving the Pats an outside chance of winning.
