It is what it is. He chose to throw it for a 2 yd gain with no chance to pick up a first down on 3rd and 7. That's the choice he made. It is what it is. Might as well just throw the ball away.
Bad performance on all sides of the ball today against a team that is really beatable. I predicted us to lose but after watching this all we had to do was basic fundamentals to keep the game close - stop arm tackling, stop over pursuing on runs, stop taking bad angles for tackles, stop leaving gaps wide open, etc.
Could also be Belichick making mid-game adjustments from series to series outcoaching Gruden and Guenther at every step of the way. It's a poor showing all around. This team isn't really that talented at the moment.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such poor tackling. We’ve had tons of chances to make stops for losses but whiff and they get 15 yards on the play.

They had a shot to win today. They played sloppy and paid for it. Guess they couldn’t handle prosperity and keep up the momentum from last weeks big win. Short week probably didn’t help. Need Brown and Incognito, need Ruggsand Edwards to get right also
They took away Waller and the offense looked just meh. The defense is trash. Better be ready for the 40+ burger KC is gonna hang on us twice this year
Did you see the adjustments Patriots made in the run game? Inside didn't work in 1st quarter so they did misdirection and outside runs. Then 2nd quarter they bring Michel in for the inside runs. Then go back to outside runs and continue to mix and match.Yes, that's playcalling and coaching making adjustments on the fly throughout the game. Something Raider coaches haven't done for 30 years. Continue being dumbfounded though.

NE knows how to exploit your weaknesses and keeps pounding you when they find it. I think we are better at making half time adjustments this year, but the opposing coach was just too good.
Or we just aren't that good. This defense is still bad. The offense had their best weapon taken away and we looked completely off balance
We need to stay to at least 500% through the first half of the season and get past all our injuries.
I think the defensive scheming of NE was really good, very disciplined. Not having Ruggs out there hurt us bad, kept everything in front for the defense.
Tough road game. You cannot let a team score on every possession in the second half and expect to win. Defense can't stop anybody. We can't stop the run or the pass.
Ruggs wouldn't;t have caught a pass. We were going downfield all game without him. You cannot give up 30 points a game an expect to win in the NFL. Thats the bottom line.
