Week 5: Patriots vs. Bills

Are we real, or are we a team that beat up on a crappier team than we are?

I don't know why, but I have unrealistic optimism for tonight's game. I feel like this is a game they shouldn't even sniff a win on and somehow we're about to see a Vrabel and JMD masterclass to pull the upset. Unfortunately, I think the offense will struggle, but I think the defense has their best game yet.

Bold Prediction: Clean and tight game until the third quarter when defenses falter. Drake Maye has a better game than Josh Allen and +1 more rushing TDs than him. Stefon Diggs goes for 200+ total yards.

Beefalo played a very lackluster (by their standards) game against the Saints last week. This week, they right the ship, especially since it's a division game. New Engalnd just isn't that team yet.

Do I really think the Pats will win? No, but the homer in me will pick them. If the Pats win, I think it will be a shootout. If I were a betting man, Bills win 31-17.

I'm incapable of picking against the pats, so i'll say they somehow squeak one out. Josh Allen struggles through the air, and despite scoring two TD's on the ground, the pats defense does enough to prevent a game winning drive from allen at the end. Drake has another game with no boneheaded turnovers.
