Week 8: Patriots vs. Browns
We don't suck, anymore!
The Browns defensive front will be the best we've seen, so far. Expect a lot of scrambling. Let's hope Drake can continue being as accurate as he has been when throwing on the run. Should be a good game, at least for the first half. LFG!

My last few predictions did not come to fruition -- I'm the anti-Jimx lately. I need some of his juju. But this time the Patriots will finally get destroyed by the Browns with Myles Garrett wreaking havoc on the OL and Maye, worse than my shirts irritating my chest hairs. Patriot fans are quiet all game -- but this is no surprise since they are not a loud bunch anyway. It will be a glorious week in Patriot Nation with all my favorite talking heads bashing the team: Felger, Mazz, Volin, Kacsmar, Wright, and Steven A have a field day tearing the team down! Muahahaha! (tl:dr My penis is embarrassingly small)

The Browns are starting to show a little bit of life, what with walloping the Fins and all (not that that's difficult this season, but the Browns didn't Brown, not even a little bit). And we all know that the Pats just don't seem to play well at home. Dillon Gabriel finishes his first game winning drive with a TD pass to Jerry Jeudy.
Browns win 24-21
Bold Prediction: Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson make a bet before the game. Loser has to show up at Monday practice wearing a Tom Brady Michigan jersey. Henderson loses the bet, pays up, and is immediately fined $250 by Mike Vrabel for violation of the Buckeye code.

I think the Browns will actually put up a fight and will be a tougher game for the Pats. Offense struggles a bit early on with the Browns front 4 pressure getting to them. Offense finally finds their groove and screen game helps slow down the pass rush. Drake throws for 2 TDs - Henry and Pop. Mondre does most of the drity work but Henderson rushes for the TD. Defense has communication breakdowns that lead to 2 easy scores for the Browns. Eventually tighten up to stop the bleeding. Pats come from behind and finally go up midway in the 4th and the defense stops a Browns late game comeback.

Bold Prediction: Pats win but is a depressing victory Monday because of how they played.

Last week it was getting the run game right, this week it's improving the defensive starts on the first few drives. Look for the Pats' defense to show up early on Sunday.

Dillon throws 2 picks, Sanders throws 1 & Maye throws 0. Pats win turnover battle 4-0. Mondre earned his props after my subissision last week. He hits 100 yards befor the 4th Q and has no fumbles the entire game. Crowd noise contends for NFLs loudest ever.

Hope is that the Pats run D forces Cleveland to put the ball in Gabriel's hands, allowing the pass D to make place and capitalize on rookie errors.

The Pats will struggle against a good CLE Defense. They have to find ways to move the ball. The Pats defense needs to keep CLE in check.. Ths won't be easy as the Pats have struggled at home for a while.. Will the crowd stay engaged The whole game?

Bold Prediction: Pats win it on a late 4th Q field goal.

I could see this being a lower scoring game with both defenses being doing better than the offenses. Either that or its a shootout because the NFL is a crapshoot.
